Hi!

Welcome to my blog! If you found my site by following a link then you're probably a scrapper or paper crafter, so hopefully you'll find something that interests you here! I've been paper scrapping for almost 6 years and digi scrapping since the beginning of 2007. I started designing digi scrap kits in April 2007 and opened my online store shortly after that. I am totally hooked on digi scrapping!!!
My other main hobby is card making, which has taken a back seat to scrapping lately!
On this site you'll find news of my latest creations, new layouts by myself and my Creative Team, general chat and - of course - lots of Freebies!
Please feel free to grab some freebies, browse my store and don't forget to leave a comment! Thanks for stopping by!

Design Contest Update, New Kit and a Freebie Alpha!

Hi all!

First of all, I wanted to let you know what's happening over at Stone Accent Studios designer contest. Thanks to those of you who took the time to vote for my entry! Because of a misunderstanding of the rules by some of the contestants, the powers that be at SAS have decided to put everyone through to the next round! Tonight we'll all find out what our next challenge is...so you know I'll be asking for your votes come Monday evening!! If you haven't had a chance to go visit the contest then please do....if you register with SAS (it only takes a minute) you will be able to download all 32 kits entered for free! Scroll back to my last post for the links to the poll and the gallery. If you see a kit you'd like to download then just click on the thumbnail and you'll see the download link in the description . PLEASE be thoughtful enough to leave a quick comment for those kits you download....if you're a regular visitor to my blog then you'll know that this is a personal "bugbear" of mine. After all, if someone handed you a gift in person then wouldn't you say "thank you"??? It only takes a second to type "tyvm" while you're downloading a freebie...and it REALLY does make the designer feel like their efforts are appreciated! Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now!!!!

One of my CT members, Clara Sue, asked me to make a kit for her grandson Bryce. He turned 6 on Monday and was having a birthday party on a "lizard and bugs" theme. Well, I finished the kit last night and put it in the store at craftyscraps at the special introductory price of only $3.00. I had SO much fun making this kit as it's not really like anything I've done before....so thanks for asking me to do it Clara Sue! I'm always open to suggestions and requests for kits...so if there's anything you'd like me to try making just ask! Anyway, here's a preview of the kit.....

I decided that the freebie from this kit would be the chipboard alpha. I was really pleased with the way this turned out and thought that you'd be able to use it on all your bright and colorful layouts! You can get it here.

Don't forget to add this blog to your Favorites....there are always freebies up for grabs!

  2. Hi! My name is Jaana Säker and i am the owner of Scrapyard.se We are always looking for new designers for our site.
I've heard that there is many swedish digiscrappers that are afraid to buy from shops not located in Sweden
but they would love to buy products from many designers.

Maybe you want to sell you products at Scrapyard.se also? So your swedish fans can buy it to!

It would have been really fun if you want to sell your products at Scraoyard.se. Please contact me if you are interested.
Best regards Jaana Säker, owner of Scrapyard.se - jaana@scrapyard.
