I been literally bound to my laptop creating two collections back to back for Scrapbookflair's Designer Collections. Both have just been released this week and they're yours to download free! The first one is called Making Family Memories and is somewhat heritage inspired. The second collection is named Women's Day and was created for International Women's Day, which I believe is this coming Sunday. All the collections in the download section can be used in any graphics/scrapping software...except for the templates (QPs)..which are saved in ptf format for use in the Scrapbookflair program (free download).
As soon as I'd finished working on the SBF collections I had to produce the monthly newsletter for Ahhh Scrap on behalf of Brooke (the owner) who is, as I write this, giving birth! I can't wait to see pics of the new baby! While I'm mentioning Ahhh Scrap, I should also let you know that I'm having a 40% Off Sale on my whole store right now. You have to see this month's collab kit at Ahhh Scrap! It's HUGE - 115 papers and 186 elements! It's called "Pet Lovers" and is an absolute must for all you pet owners out there. Best of all, it's only $4.99....and if you use coupon code "c52b6594f1" you'll receive a $1.00 discount!
Having finished the newsletter, I then decided it was time to get something new in the store. I'm feeling quite "vintage inspired" at the moment so I put together a couple of CU element kits (previews below). If you love making heritage layouts or are a designer looking for items to add to your heritage kits then do check them out while they're available at the reduced price.
I have a little sample freebie for you today...you can grab it here.
Scrap Mall has a great collab deal for you this month too - this one is a grab bag which contains 10 items (8 CU, 2 S4H) plus a $1.00 off coupon all for just $5.55! Wow, can't beat a deal like that for CU Items!! Click on the sale graphic at the top of this post if you'd like to browse what's on offer.
So, in between designing collections, element packs and my contribution to the collab kits..and producing the Ahhh Scrap newsletter - I've been carrying on with my job hunt. Things just seem to be getting tougher out there....so many unemployed and too few jobs. I'm waiting to hear back from an interview I attended just over a week ago. I called the office manager this week to find out if she had any news (either way) and was promised a call by the end of this week. Didn't get the call though. I have lots of applications in...and I'll keep on trying until I get something!!!
This weekend I plan on taking it easy, except that I MUST get my own newsletter out....and maybe finally getting a couple of layouts done! I've started another kit, but will put that on hold until Monday.
